Hold on.....is that a remixed: Remixes, Samples & Copyright Clearances

In music, sampling is the act of taking a portion, or sample, of one sound recording and reusing it as an instrument or a different sound recording of a song. The wide spread use of sampling in popular music originated with the birth of hip hop music in New York in the 1970s. This is typically done with a sampler, which can be a piece of hardware or a computer program. Sampling is also possible with tape loops or with vinyl records on a phonograph.

I am going to see whether I feel that Remixing and sampling of music should be allowed because of the downloads (usually free from the internet.) Watching a documentary movie about remixes and about this Canadian DJ called Girltalk and how he was in danger of being charged for all the music he has sampled. We should blame it on Mickey Mouse because of the Mickey Mouse Protection Act in 1998 made by Warner Brother. This has happened in the US, EU but this movie was made in Canada they still have the waging war of copyright, just not illegal downloads. 

I don't understand that artist make music to share and help other people to their inspirational music. But no, as soon as the song has been used as a sampe by the public it's their song and you can't feel attached to it. Art is for the people to live life, so what is the point? But is technology an art form because this is thh only way legal terms and laws are crazy.

Some legal people are talking on the money involved in remixes from artist and the sampling game.

This is a clip from Radiohead Album that was given out free and how people should respect and the choose what to pay the artist and see what they can do withthe music. People online did some sampling on Youtube clips, getting fined for music that they got expenses free from the artist. Radiohead was unsigned, therefore that company was not allowed to do that.

Many people in the music industry are really business minded but forget that music is an art form and technology is apart of life aswell as experiementation of the two.
